Stick a fork in it, it's done

As a v4 user I was excited to see what v5 would bring. However, the posts about v5 are now a couple years old. People keep asking if Monica is dead. I'm not a Monica developer, but from the research I've done I'm going to say "yeah, it's dead". Here's my evidence:

• No recent activity here on the official repo.
• One of the devs, djaiss, has several other monica-like projects going on:
  • https://github.com/djaiss/peopleOS which seems like a monica-rewrite but already set to archived mode.
  • https://github.com/djaiss/journalOS which is a personal journal, but not a relationship manager.
• asbiin likewise has been absent from the monica scene.
• No public patreon updates since 2018 afaict
• No blog activity since 2023

Life gets in the way, people lose interest, it happens. I'm not calling anyone out (lord knows how many projects I've abandoned over the years).

It would be nice to get some official communication as to the state of Monica.
